The arrival of spring indicates the impending approach of summer! Living Spirit offers three camp opportunities, including two that don't require leaving the city. Check them out:
Day Camp: June 27 – July 1
What: Peace, Salaam, Shalom: South Minneapolis ecumenical day camp
Who: Campers age 4 through 8th grade; volunteers of all ages (including youth)
When: June 27 – July 1 (Monday — Friday), 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Bethel Lutheran Church (on 17th Ave. S at 41st St.)
Cost: $25 per camper; $60 max for families. Scholarships are available; please talk to Pastor Donna.
To register: Pick up a registration form from the Welcome Table at Living Spirit, or download one. Registration form(s) and payment should be sent to the address on the form by June 1.
Urban Camp: July 11 – 14
What: Joy in Jesus! Living Spirit's annual evening summer camp
Who: Campers age 4 through 5th grade; volunteers of all ages (especially adults)
When: July 11 – 14, 5:15 to 7:45 p.m.
Where: Living Spirit
Cost: $5 per child, $15 max per family; scholarships will be available.

What: All-summer camping opportunities from the Minnesota Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church
Who: All ages, including adults
When: May – September (sessions vary in length)
Where: Northern Pines Camp, Koronis Ministries, Kowakan Adventures, and other locations in Minnesota
Cost: Varies; Camperships are available
