Living Spirit United Methodist Church in Minneapolis, MN is a culturally and racially diverse, inclusive community called and committed to worship and participate in God's creative work in today's world— to do justice, seek peace, and build healthy, vibrant communities.
On February 3 at 6:30 p.m. we will be holding the Mother Emanuel AME congregation and families of victims in prayer, repenting of systemic racism, and asking God to heal our country. In addition to the wonder of prayer, one of the values is to keep this experience in front of one another as an opportunity for witness and change.
This is part of a series of prayer vigils in Minnesota held every Wednesday for a year, organized by the Minnesota Council of Churches.
